Tourism may be the first to recover in Asia
According to a survey conducted by Agoda, a subsidiary of US Booking Holdings, the travel industry will recover the fastest in this market. The countries of the region are heavily dependent on tourism revenues, so it is clearly in their interest for both domestic and international travel to recover quickly. In addition, several Asian countries have successfully taken up the fight against the virus, 617 cases have been reported so far in Taiwan and no new infections have occurred for 200 days, with a total of 1,307 confirmed cases in Vietnam and 3,920 in Thailand.
