Immediate joint assistance to the victims of the earthquake with the cooperation of Tesco and the Ecumenical Aid Organization
Tesco Hungary is contributing HUF 20 million to the humanitarian aid campaign launched by the Ecumenical Aid Organization, which supports families made homeless by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. In addition, the Tesco Group is donating more than HUF 40 million to support the victims of the earthquake through the Red Cross.
“Almost a year later, a sad tragedy affecting many justifies us to act together with the Ecumenical Relief Organization without delay and to take our share of the assistance provided to those in need. Through our strategic partner, after those fleeing the war in Ukraine, we now want to facilitate the fastest possible care for those in the region affected by the earthquake. We were also shaken by the tragedy, and we think of those affected with sympathy”
– said Zsolt Pálinkás, CEO of Tesco Hungary.
