SAP Hungary CEO resigns with immediate effect
SAP Hungary Kft. has confirmed that Szabolcs Pintér, the company’s CEO, is leaving with immediate effect, Telex has learned. Pintér has worked for the company since 2007 and was appointed to head the Hungarian subsidiary in 2019.
The decision is based on a global review of the company group, which was launched after a sexual abuse case broke out at SAP’s American subsidiary last year. Although the Hungarian wing was not affected by a similar case, according to our information, in correspondence about a company event last year, worrying formulations were found based on American standards, which is why the company parted ways with Pintér.
According to SAP’s official response, the company “does not wish to comment on rumors and speculation regarding personnel or event-related decisions.”
