The price of fish decreased in the vast majority of shops, due to the VAT reduction
In the vast majority of shops, fish prices decreased by 10 to 15 percent due to VAT cuts – the Managing Director of the Hungarian Aquaculture and Fisheries Interbranch Organization (Mahal) told MTI on Wednesday.
Sziráki Bence said: the consumer price of fish has dropped everywhere at the big supermarket chains and at primary producers, but some shops can be exceptions. He added that fish producers did not raise prices in the new year and selling their products at their previous net prices. (MTI)
