The Logistics Yearbook also supports the education of young people: they are already waiting for applications from this year’s authors
This year, the latest issue of the Logistics Yearbook is coming again, which has been supporting the education of new professionals for several decades. The Hungarian Logistics Association (MLE) continues to provide free publication opportunities in the 31st edition, but sponsors and advertisers supporting the publication are also expected to apply this year.
Published by the Hungarian Logistics Association (MLE), the “A” category scientific publication has been an indispensable, unique work of the domestic logistics world for several decades. The volume also supports the education of new professionals year after year, as the studies contained in it are usually assigned a DOI number by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA). Thanks to this, students in higher education can also use it for preparing their theses, among other things.
“Educational institutions, as well as their researchers and students, are often interested in the Logistics Yearbooks. If you can find past issues in the libraries of institutions, for example, it can provide substantial assistance to their scientific activities. However, we can also find copies from previous years in the collections of competitive market players more than once,” said Dr. Zoltán Doór, President of the Hungarian Logistics Association (MLE), who highlighted that lecturers from several higher education institutions are found not only among the authors but also among the independent reviewers and members of the editorial board.
The studies published in the Logistics Yearbooks must meet strict formal and content requirements. Therefore, the acceptance of topics submitted by the applicant authors and the review of the completed materials is coordinated by the editorial board, which has been led by Editor-in-Chief Dr. Szabolcs Duleba for more than a decade. The work to be published can be in Hungarian or English, but the title and abstract must be written in both languages, and this is also a condition of application.
