In the USA half of the population will be overweight by 2030

The online version of The Washington Post published an article on 26 August – after Brutish medical journal Lancet – reporting that half of the population will be overweight by 2030 in the USA if the present food regulation and environment do not change. According to the article, the solution would be reducing the price of healthy food products, increasing the price of less healthy ones and adopting stricter regulation on producing and marketing food products.
