An attractive selection awaits customers at PENNY even during the holidays
PENNY welcomes the Easter holidays with budget-friendly prices and a colorful selection this year. The chain offers quality private label products, 20 types of ham variations and fresh, seasonal Hungarian vegetables at affordable prices, with which the festive menu can be prepared easily and quickly for everyone. PENNY Chef Richárd Farkas also brought inspiration to the Easter dishes, and his clear recipes combine the traditions of Hungarian cuisine with innovation.
Easter table, with traditional flavors
PENNY’s Easter offer includes all the important ingredients for festive dishes, whether it’s ham, horseradish, chocolate eggs or fresh seasonal vegetables. This year, the chain offers 20 types of ham, of which 15 products come exclusively from domestic suppliers. At the same time, the chain has not changed the prices of the products: the hams – including the popular Dárdás and Karát private brands – will be available in stores at last year’s prices. Few people know, but during the Easter period, almost half of the annual table horseradish turnover is sold out, of which this year again the high-quality, yet reasonably priced private-label Czifra horseradish – in delicate, spicy and mayonnaise versions – ensures the fullness of traditional flavors.
Seasonal ingredients, domestic raw materials
PENNY is committed to domestic products, which is becoming increasingly important for customers, especially with regard to vegetables and fruits. That is why every year the store is the first to bring Hungarian produce to the market. Thus, fresh, locally selected products, which are both important players in Easter and spring renewal, gradually arrive on store shelves starting in March.
