Hungarian agriculture provides five and a half percent of the EU industrial plants
Hungary’s contribution to the EU’s agricultural productivity is far above the sector average in case of grain and industrial crops as well as in case of poultry production – Világgazdaság Online wrote on the basis of KSH’s summary.
The Hungarian agriculture was on an opposite path last year, compared to the European Union’s agriculture if we look at gross output. According to the Central Statistical Office’s (KSH) publication, the gross total agricultural output in Hungary at current basic price was 2,568 billion HUF in 2017, 0.8 percent lower than in the previous year. In the EU at the same time, output was 427 billion euros and the increase was 5.2 percent. (Világgazdaság Online)
