Unilever bought the SZAVO brand
With the purchase of the SZAVO brand, the Unilever further enhances its position in the detergents market and by broadening its product portfolio it contributes to the more complex serving of its customers. With the purchase of the SZAVO brand, the ownership of some other brands such as Diffusil and Biolit will also belong to Unilever.
“Unilever is constantly looking for investment opportunities in order to build brands and markets. This is a valuable acquisition for us, because SZAVO as a brand is well known and has a good market position. I am confident that Unilever’s marketing knowledge and experience will be beneficial for the acquired brands” – Gyenes András, Managing Director of Unilever Hungary told.
The acquisition will not affect the chemicals business activites of Bochemie, the former owner of SZAVO.
