Unilever buys a cosmetics company for 1.2 billion euros
The European Commission's competition authority has contributed to the earlier plans, that Unilever will acquire the European cosmetics business of Sara Lee.
The 1.2 billion-euro transaction, among other things, meaning the purchase of cosmetic brands such as Radox, the Duschdas or the Neutral, which strengthen the leading position of Unilever on both local and regional levels in the deodorants and cosmetics category.
