Unicum Trezor XO has opened a new era in the life of the brand, which looks back on a centuries-old history. The herbal liqueur, aged for ten years in oak barrels and then in French wine distillate barrels, is a true masterpiece, in which the most noble elements of the traditional recipe and modern, premium beverage production meet. The drink in the bottle reveals special depths worthy of the “XO” – or “Extra Old” designation: its aroma reveals vanilla, tropical spices and refined woody notes, while its taste is completed by more than 40 herbs, mature oak and silky chocolate tones. This is another dimension of Unicum – rich, sophisticated and unique, in which the essence of respect for tradition and Zwack’s professional heritage comes to life.

Zwack’s limited edition luxury liqueur is available again from November

The luxury liqueur is the company’s longest development to date, 10 years. The first batch of Unicum Trezor XO, set aside in 2013, was kept completely secret from the public. The speciality was conceived in memory of Péter Zwack and was put into barrel exactly one year after his death as a worthy gesture of remembrance. Due to the aging capacity of the cellar, the carefully guarded stock of Unicum Trezor XO is put into barrel once a year, in extremely limited quantities. Each year, they can dedicate a limited amount of Unicum, enough for a maximum of 2-3 thousand bottles, to the production of the drink.

Only 3,200 bottles were bottled from the 2013 vintage, of which the last 517 will be released this year. So, those who missed out last year now have a new chance to get their hands on the very first batch of the company’s luxury herbal liqueur – but the opportunity is only available for a short time, while supplies last. Each numbered bottle of this year’s batch carries the strength of tradition and the freshness of innovation – the values ​​along which Zwack Unicum still operates successfully today, now under the leadership of the sixth generation.

Unicum Trezor XO luxury liqueur will be available for purchase again on November 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM, exclusively at the Unicum Ház sample store and the Zwack webshop.
