A new image and rethinking membership fees – Hungarian Public Relations Association redesigns
Last November, the new presidency of the Hungarian Public Relations Association (MPRSZ) was elected, and they started to achieve the set goals with steam, but the plans were overwritten by the coronavirus. The organization responded quickly to the evolving labor and epidemiological situation, supporting its individual, agency, and corporate members with a variety of services.
However, for proper advocacy, it is essential that as many PR professionals as possible join the Association, so new agency and company members can now join the association at a reduced membership fee, and individual members can join the association without paying a membership fee.
“We managed to achieve a number of objectives – from the new image to the rethinking of membership fees – in the first quarter that will contribute to the renewal of the alliance. However, the crisis has posed serious challenges to the profession, which is why we have tried to provide both extensive professional and human support. We published a professional recommendation for corona virus communication and organizational management activities and launched a weekly series of virtual discussions for agency leaders to help each other with their experiences and condensed our newsletter to a weekly level. ” – He told
