STI on Growing Path: Takeover of Petöfi, Hungary

After a strong increase in turnover in 2006 of more than 10%, STI Group Lauterbach, Europe´s number 1 producer of displays and a major player in the packaging sector, announces further expansion.

On
1st of June 2007, STI acquired from M Real Group Petöfi Nyomda Kft., Hungary´s
leading producer of folding boxes and micro-flute corrugated cartons in eastern
Europe.

Petöfi
Nyomda Kft. is located in Kecskemét, near Budapest and employs 420 people, with
a turnover of 40 million € in 2006. It was founded in 1840 and its key market
segments are branded foods, pharmaceuticals, tobacco and consumer electronics
in Hungary, Slovakia and Romania.
