SAP expands European sovereign cloud offering to drive AI advancements in the region

Flexible deployment solutions for all security needs

With SAP Sovereign Cloud offerings, customers can choose from new operating models that give them control over infrastructure, platform, and software, aligned with unique regulatory and operational needs. This flexibility allows organizations to innovate securely and in compliance with local regulations, while maintaining the freedom to grow on their own terms. SAP Sovereign Cloud solutions are available in the following forms:

SAP Cloud Infrastructure (in Europe): An infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) based on open source technologies, hosted by SAP in its own data centers. Data remains entirely within the EU, thus complying with EU data protection regulations.

SAP Sovereign Cloud On-Site: SAP offers SAP-hosted infrastructure in a data center owned or selected by the customer. This provides the organization with the highest level of data and operational control, technical and legal sovereignty, while also guaranteeing the benefits of SAP cloud innovations.
Delos Cloud (in Germany): A secure, sovereign cloud solution designed to support the rapid digital transformation of the public sector, meeting country-specific requirements.
