The world is celebrating the fifty years of Nutella

The Nutella, that is celebrating its 50th anniversary is celebrated in Italy and in many countries around the world. The Nutella hazelnut cream has started its conquest half a century ago in 1964.

The seventy euro cent stamps can be bought at the Italian post offices labeled 1964-2014 Nutella, depicting the famous peanut butter jar with screw cap.

The first stage of the birthday celebrations was at the International Nutella Day on Saturday in Alba, Piemont province. The first Nutella jar was produced here at Ferrero’s still working factory 50 years ago.

The nutella has 30 million fans on Facebook. On the occasion of the anniversary the nutellastories.com website was launched as well. (Sárközy Júlia, MTI)
