The fate of homeless pets depends only on us
The door opens, and they are waiting for us to gild our lives with their unconditional love. Our little pets have a beneficial effect on both our mental and physical health, and in return they only ask for care and safety. In Hungary, however, hundreds of thousands of pets live without owners, wandering the streets or hoping for a better future in shelters. On the third Saturday of August, World Homeless Animal Day, Mars presents three ways to help homeless animals and ease the burden on animal shelters. After all, every pet deserves a better world.
In Hungary, around 5 million dogs and cats live as small pets1, while according to some estimates, hundreds of thousands of stray pets are waiting for a loving and safe home. Mars, which distributes popular pet food brands such as Pedigree and Whiskas, is calling on everyone to take action on World Homeless Animals Day. For many years, the company has been dedicated and consistently working to create a better world for pets, paying special attention to supporting shelters, promoting responsible animal husbandry and adoption. Now, by presenting three methods, he wants to support everyone who wants to help the living conditions of stray pets and increase their chances of finding a home.
