The OTP may acquire share in the largest Croatian food company
Podravka announced, that the company will not purchase the 10.65 percent of shares of the company, so OTP can gain share in Croatia's largest food producer and distributor company.
Previously, the Világgazdaság has reported that Podravka is unable to repay the 38 million euros loan to the OTP, which expired on the 30th of September. The share package served as the cover for the loan.
The Podravka Group has published its first nine months results on Friday. The company's profit during this period was 82.3 million kuna (3.063 billion HUF), 95 percent more than a year earlier. The company's operating income decreased by 3 percent to 2.7 billion Kuna (100.5 billion HUF), while expenses decreased by 5 percent to 2.5 billion Kuna (93.03 billion HUF) – reports Index.
