OTP Bank was the first to introduce DÁP identification in the Hungarian banking sector
OTP Bank is the first among Hungarian banks to integrate the Digital Citizenship Program (DÁP) identification service into its web applications – the bank announced in a statement to MTI on Tuesday.
According to the announcement, the solution allows customers to identify themselves using the DÁP mobile app in OTP Internet Banking and OTP Portals, making administration faster and more convenient – even in cases such as loan applications.
Péter Vouszka, Head of Service Development for Digital Channels at OTP Bank, stated that they are working on solutions to simplify administration, and in the future, changes in address could also be updated automatically in the bank’s records.
The DÁP mobile application already enables login to nearly 200 government administration platforms, and more than 120 market players are currently working on its implementation – the statement quoted Bálint Kovács, Product Manager at IdomSoft Zrt., the developer of the application.
