A good yield is expected in case of autumn sown crops
According to Czerván György, State Secretary of the Ministry of Rural Development (VM), responsible for agri-management in case of sunflower and corn a good yield is expected. In case of autumn sown crops – such as cereal grains – a moderate yield is expected.
The Secretary reminded that among the autumn crops canola suffered the most from the harsh weather conditions, drought and frost. 90 thousand hectares out of the 254 thousand hectares of sown area has been destroyed. (MTI)
