90 percent of the winter wheat is already harvested in Vas county

More than 90 percent of winter wheat is already harvested in Vas county, the average yield per hectare is more than 4.6 tons, compared to last year’s 4 tons – Lukács Zoltán, Agriculture Inspector of the Agricultural Directorate of the Vas county Government Office told MTI on Monday.

Lukács Zoltán said that harvest is complete on 34 thousand hectares of the nearly 38 thousand hectares of cultivated land. The rapeseed produced on 19 800 hectares reached also good results. The yield per hectare amounted to 2.83 tons.  (MTI)
