The National Trade Association welcomes the elimination of mandatory promotions from July 1.
In cooperation with the government, retailers also tried to make an effective contribution to curbing inflation, consumers benefit from the introduction of mandatory promotions, since retailers can launch promotions that are even better aligned with consumer habits and expectations, which further strengthen competition, and in addition, in a more predictable market environment, domestic suppliers they also have a better chance of establishing long-term cooperation with retailers, as product paths can be stabilized in this way. Price reductions will therefore not stop, but retailers can focus on other product categories that are more important to consumers.
