Anyone who travels with BudapestGO can win a ticket to the country’s largest comic book festival

BKK and Budapest Comic Con are offering a special prize draw for regular public transport users. Anyone who purchases one of the specified passes in the BudapestGO app in February and registers their pass by March 2nd can win a VIP ticket for two, as well as a VIP experience with accommodation and catering, to Hungary’s largest TV, film, comic and cosplay fan event. BKK and Budapest Comic Con are also announcing a comic drawing competition.

This year’s Budapest Comic Con festival is special in several ways. Visitors to Hungary’s largest TV, film, comic and cosplay fan event can win valuable prizes if they purchase a ticket in the BudapestGO app in February, register and participate in the joint prize draw of BKK and Budapest Comic Con.

Those who purchase their ticket in the app during the campaign and register on the prize draw subpage can participate in the draw, which includes:

1 pair of Ultra VIP tickets, including 1 night’s accommodation at the Expo Hotel and a catering and lunch voucher redeemable at the event venue,
10 pairs of VIP tickets, and
You can win 25 pairs of normal day tickets.

Transportation superheroes come to life

In addition to the prize draw, BKK and Budapest Comic Con are also holding a competition for comic artists announces, which invites applications on topics such as superheroes of the city and transport, touching human stories, and talking vehicles. The first place winner will receive an annual national pass that can be used for public transport and a cash prize of 250 thousand forints, while the second and third place winners will receive cash prizes courtesy of Budapest Comic Con. The award ceremony will take place at the Comic Con event on March 22, 2026 in Hall 4 of Hungexpo, where BKK awaits visitors with a special program.
