The Hungarian Wine Muster awarded the country's best wines

7 Grand Gold, 82 Gold and 30 Silver awards were handed over at the awards ceremony of the Hungarian Wine Muster. Tesco, the main sponsors of the competition gave additional three special awards to the best wines as well.

For this year's Hungarian Wine Muster 124 wineries sent 409 wine samples, 175 white and 139 red wines. The most samples were sent by the winemakers of Villány (50), Kunság (45) and Szekszárd (44), from the 22 wine regions. The 35 membered jury of professional journalists and young winemakers tasted and evaluated the samples for two days, to select the best ones.
