The Russian government considers a price stop
In Russia, certain foods become more expensive to the extent that it allows the government to restrict their prices. However, there are several counter-arguments against the measure, therefore, the government is still waiting.
There are 24 products on the list of the act, with social significance, which the government can impose a maximum price, if the price of the product increases 30 percent in 30 days. Among the listed products, meat, fish, poultry, butter, vegetable oil, sugar, bread, eggs, salt and bread can be found – reports ProfitLine.hu.
