Authorities warn of the dangers of online shopping as the year draws to a close, and experts from the police, the Hungarian Banking Association and the National Cyber Defense Institute drew attention to conscious purchase at a press conference held online on Tuesday because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Darázs-Horváth Zsófia of the Police, spoke about the fact that the number of Internet frauds is growing year by year worldwide, which is why Europol has decided to organize its international campaign focusing on online product purchase frauds for the fourth time. The goal of E-commerce 2020 was to eliminate online shopping fraud with the involvement of law enforcement agencies, banks, merchant companies and courier services. (MTI)
