Tesco requested a rent reduction from the local government

Tesco-Global Stores Ltd. requested a rent reduction from the municipality of the 12th district referring to the special tax. According to Tesco's press department it is a usual practice that they periodically review the long-term contracts.

The municipality of the 12th was surprised, when a request arrived from the center of the Tesco-Global Stores Ltd., asking for a discount of rental fee for the department store located in the district. Tesco transferred nearly 12 billion HUF to the Hungarian budget until the 20th of December – reports Index.
