OMV Hungária and its customers support the work of the Maltese Charity Service with nearly HUF 4.6 million
At the end of last year, OMV Hungária and the Hungarian Maltese Charity organized a charity campaign for the sale of Maltese donation cards available at the company’s filling stations. The campaign ended with an outstanding result: the company doubled the customers’ donations, so nearly HUF 4.6 million was collected for the organization’s purposes.
“It is always a special occasion for us to experience the joy of donating together with our customers. This time we were able to help the extremely important charitable work of the Maltese Charity Service together in a very successful campaign. Although this promotion has ended, donation cards can still be purchased at our charging stations throughout the year. Since the employees of the organization perform their tasks as volunteers and without pay in the field of domestic civil rescue and a series of other social activities, every charitable forint really goes to a great place.”
– said Tibor Balogh, managing director of OMV Hungária.
The money collected in the 2023 campaign will be used by the Hungarian Maltese Charity to implement the Youth Disabled Camp. Disabled young people come to the event without their family members or permanent companions. During the camp, they are assisted by volunteers of a similar age who have been prepared for the task in advance.
