The Italian tourism sector may lose 120 billion euros this year
The Italian Confcommercio Chamber of Commerce estimates that there could be a loss of 120 billion euros in revenue in the Italian tourism sector this year.
The 270,000 companies operating in tourism, hospitality and retail have been put to existential danger by epidemic restrictions, which could lead to the loss of 420,000 jobs. Confcommercio is lobbying the government for supports. (MTI)
