Organic farming is the key to and a leading model for sustainable agriculture
International and national organic farming experts met in Budapest at the 18th European Organic Congress.

The debate focused on the challenges and prospects of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and the necessity to improve the market position of farmers. Stakeholders agreed that it was important to appreciate farmers who provide high added value through organic farming, to raise consumer awareness of organic food and to help the young generation of farmers. The EU plans to increase the share of organic farming from 10% to 25% by 2030. //
