Employment rose to 68 percent in the third quarter in OECD countries
In the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), employment was 68 percent in the third quarter of last year, up 0.6 percentage points from the previous quarter, according to the Paris-based organization’s website.
The overall rate was even closer to the pre-pandemic (January-March 2020) level of 68.6 percent. In several countries, including Hungary, Austria, France, Greece, New Zealand and Portugal, employment has already exceeded pre-epidemic levels. (MTI)
