In the OECD, inflation was at a 31-year high in February
In the countries belonging to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the annual increase in consumer prices was 7.7 percent in February after 7.2 percent in January.

Record inflation in OECD countries
Inflation in OECD countries was thus the highest since December 1990, due in part to the exceptionally high rise in consumer prices in Turkey of 54.4 percent after 48.7 percent in January. Excluding Turkey, OECD inflation accelerated to 6.3 percent from 5.8 percent in January. (MTI)
