Unemployment stagnated at a record low in the OECD
In the 37 member states of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), unemployment stagnated at a record low of 5 percent in May.
The indicator decreases or stagnates for thirteen month. According to the Paris-based organization, unemployment in May was at or below the pre-pandemic level in two-thirds of OECD countries.
In May, the number of unemployed people in the OECD countries was practically unchanged, at 33.848 million, after 33.825 million in April. (MTI)
