OECD against food price fluctuations
To fight against food price fluctuations and to guarantee the income of workers in the agricultural sector were the main themes of the two-day meeting of the agricultural ministers of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
According to Gráf József Hungarian Minister of Agriculture; the future of the food industry is secure, because the number of consumers is growing. However, the estimations of OECD; that world's food production should be increased by 50 percent in the next twenty years, while the proportion of arable fields and water stocks are decreasing and the negative effects of the climate change can occur, will give significant challenges – reports MTI.
