Unemployment has fallen in OECD countries
Unemployment in the countries of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) fell for the eighth consecutive month last December, falling to 5.4 percent from 5.5 percent in November. The indicator was 0.1 percentage point higher than before the start of the coronavirus pandemic, which had a negative impact on the labor market in February 2020.

Unemployment falls slightly in OECD countries
According to data posted on the website of the Paris-based organization, the number of unemployed fell by 700,000 to 36.1 million in December, which is still more than 500,000 before the pandemic began. (MTI)
