MKIK is also joining the collection of signatures against the reduction of agricultural subsidies
The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) joins the National Agrarian Chamber of Commerce (NAK) and the Hungarian Farmers’ Association (Magosz) in the signature collection against the reduction of agricultural subsidies.
Since the beginning of the collection of signatures started in February, 165,000 people signed the petition – was announced at the joint press conference of the chambers in Budapest.
Győrffy Balázs, Chairman of the NAK, underlined that, in the post-2020 Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the European Commission proposed a significant reduction in EU agricultural subsidies due to the amounts to be allocated to migration management. “This is not an internal matter for agriculture, but it affects the entire Hungarian economy and population” – Győrffy Balázs added.
