The MDKE ojects the referendum initiative of OVB

The Association of Hungarian Tobacco Retailers submitted an objection to the Supreme Court on Friday, because the Association considers the adoption of the referendum unlawful. The association has put the prospect that they will live with the opportunities in connection with legal remedy.

The National Election Committee endorsed the petition form in late June, which includes the following question: “Whether you agree that the Parliament to modify the retail price margin rate in the CXXXIV. law on suppressing the smoking of the young people to 3.33 percent?” The Association of Hungarian Tobacco Retailers by focusing on the interests of tobacconist submitted an objection to the Supreme Court, because they believe that tobacco retailing activities are solely belonging to the responsibility of the state.
