Through the ecumenical aid organization, MBH Bank helped 35,000 people
MBH Bank has supported 35,000 people through the Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Organization in the Conscious Help program since they entered into a strategic partnership last year.
The results of the cooperation between MBH Bank and the ecumenical aid organization were presented on Thursday at the aid organization’s headquarters in Budafoki.
Zsolt Barna, the president and CEO of MBH Bank, reminded him: last year they entered into a three-year strategic partnership with the ecumenical aid organization, but the predecessor banks had been cooperating with the ecumenical aid organization for twenty years.
He said that the three pillars of the Conscious help program are financial support, the energy modernization of apartments and the development of financial awareness. He emphasized: the bank has a lot of experience in the field of both energy modernization and the development of financial awareness, which is shared with the ecumenical aid organization.
He indicated: in addition, several people participate in the aid organization’s Advent fundraising and now also in flood protection. He emphasized that the bank is committed to continuing to be a priority partner of the aid organization.
László Lehel, the president and director of the Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Society, spoke about the fact that it is not possible to “stop” with aid. We want to lay the foundations for creating opportunities, because this is the only way out for many families, and we can make huge progress with the support of MBH Bank – he emphasized.
