LG reimagines its xboom speaker brand with the help of will.i.am, both in terms of sound and design
LG Electronics (LG) and will.i.am, a creative artist, multi-platinum musician and technology entrepreneur, are launching a new audio product line. xboom by will.i.am transforms xboom into a futuristic, urban brand with a completely new sound experience.
As part of the collaboration, will.i.am will serve as LG xboom’s “experience designer,” playing a key role in reimagining the xboom brand in the audio device market. Drawing inspiration from his pop culture and technology background, will.i.am will provide strategic advice to LG xboom’s product developers, designers and marketing team, including by combining LG’s advanced technology solutions with the unique insights of the world-renowned will.i.am, the partnership will infuse LG xboom with new creative value.
“By partnering with LG, we are opening the door to groundbreaking, dynamic experiences that will appeal to a broad range of music lovers,” said will.i.am. “By combining our cutting-edge technology and unique creative vision with the xboom brand, we aim to create a culture where people can explore their passion for music in a whole new way, including with others.”
The 2025 xboom by will.i.am product line, which includes Bluetooth speakers and wireless earbuds, will be unveiled at CES in January. The wireless xboom Buds will be the first to launch in the line.
