LG has published its 2022-2023 sustainability report
LG Electronics (LG) published its 2022-2023 sustainability report, in which it officially reported on its achievements so far and its strategic plans for the six main areas of the company’s operations. The sustainability vision called Better life for everyone formulates future plans for customers and stakeholders.
The company focuses on two main areas: 3C focuses on environmental protection, i.e. carbon neutrality, circular economy and clean technology, and 3D focuses on people, i.e. consumers and workers, and thus on user-centered product design, the ideal workplace environment, and focuses on the principles of diversity and inclusion.
LG’s global sites directly and indirectly emitted 92.7 million tonnes of greenhouse gases (GHG) this year*, a reduction of 22 million tonnes compared to the previous year – a reduction that supports LG’s commitment to be net zero by 2030 achieves a value in terms of indirect and direct GHG emissions.
