IT is a part of business operations
According to László Tátrai, head of IT at SPAR Hungary, at the moment there is no peculiar trend which is likely to become dominant in the near future. Still, international trends such as cloud computing, big data, CRM or BYOD are present in the Hungarian market too. In 2015 the company focuses on cost-efficient operation and this poses great challenges to the IT department: an optimal solution has to be found, where costs are reduced but business operation remains reliable. IT’s task in the business structure of SPAR Hungary is to support the company in meeting business targets and to guarantee a safe operational background. The company’s IT system is very flexible and highly efficient.
