Irish group Musgrave buys Italicatessen
Irish food group Musgrave has acquired Italicatessen – an Italian food and wine supplier with
more than 900 customers – for an undisclosed sum. The move will enable the SuperValu and Centra owner to meet growing consumer demand for “authentic and high-quality fresh products” imported directly from their country of origin. Wicklow-based Italicatessen was founded in 2002 and employs approximately 75 people.
