Industrial production and household consumption increased the GDP
According to the final figures of the Central Statistical Office; the Hungarian economy grew by 1.7 percent in the third quarter, , which is slightly better than the preliminary estimation released in November.
According to the Central Statistical Office; economic growth was due to the increase of industrial production (+10.8 percent) and also pulled by the trade balance, while the construction industry (- 4.2 percent) and agriculture (-15.2 percent) worsened the economy's performance. Household consumption increased the GDP by 0.8 percent – reports Origo.
