Innovation gives momentum to chilled dairy snacks
Chilled milk pudding was one of the most dynamically developing categories in 2014. Eszter Varga, trade marketing and category manager of Dr. Oetker Hungary told our magazine that the category is driven by innovation as consumers are really open to trying new products. Dr. Oetker’s Paula pudding range is a favourite of both children and adults: Paula puddings are available in 4 flavours and 6 different versions. Paula is the market leader chilled milk pudding product line (based on values sales data measured by Nielsen between February 2012 and January 2015). In 2015 Dr. Oetker appeared on store shelves with a new product: Dr. Oetker Felhőcske is a really light chilled milk pudding range, available in vanilla, chocolate and chocolate-hazelnut versions. Thanks to the performance of Paula and Felhőcske products, Dr. Oetker is now among the leading brands in the chilled milk pudding category as well.
