In-Food 2000 is the new distributor of Heinz product
Heinz’s regional commercial director informed our magazine that In-Food 2000 Kft. became the new distributor of the Heinz brand in Hungary. Heinz’s market position is stable in the ketchup segment, consumers are attached to Heinz products because of their stable quality. Heinz changed its distributor for two reasons: the company plans to appear on the Hungarian market in new wet condiment categories – e.g. mustard – and this move brings new challenges in distribution.
The other reason is that Heinz would like to widen distribution in the units of domestic-owned retail chains, primarily in shops located close to where consumers live. These channels can be reached with greater success through In-Food 2000 Kft.
