The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has downgraded its forecast for growth in the world economy for this year and the next.
The IMF said in its updated report (World Economic Outlook) on Tuesday that gross domestic product (GDP) will grow by 3.2 percent this year and by 3.5 percent next year on the world average, which is a 0.1 percentage point decline each year, compared to the April expectations. (MTI)
