IKEA would sell its plants in Russia
The Swedish furniture manufacturer announced on Wednesday that it would downsize its operations in Russia, citing “the impact on stores and supply chains worldwide are serious”.
IKEA temporarily closed its stores and suspended purchases in Russia due to the war started in March, but will continue to pay its employees until August. The company has now said it is looking for new owners for its four factories in Russia. (telex, Csatári Dóra Flóra)
