IKEA to expand in Serbia
The Swedish IKEA home furnishings chain would invest around 1.2 billion euros in the forthcoming years in Serbia.
The Swedish company would open a furniture factory and five stores in Serbia, giving work for a total of nearly 9 thousand people. The first store would be opened in two years, at the outskirts of Belgrade close to the Nikola Tesla International Airport.
Dragan Skalusevic, director in charge for the Slovenian, Croatian and Serbian department of IKEA said, that the stores of the company will have a total of early 35 thousand square meters area – reports MTI.
