According to May Gábor, the Baranya county consultant of the Hungarian National Beekeeping Association (OMME); beekeepers closed a very variable, but mostly medium year because of the extreme weather. The low yield is expected to cause increases in the producer price of honey, but the quantity of price changes are unpredictable at the moment – reports Origo.
