Food prices dropping except for seasonal ones
Food prices were up by 0.4 percent in April, compared to March. Seasonal prices like potato, fresh vegetables and fruits rose. The same happened to sausages, chocolate and poultry. The price of milk, swine fat, cooking oil and flour dropped in the same period. Food prices without those of seasonal products dropped by 0.1 percent compared to the previous month. Food prices have risen by 4.3 percent since April 2008.
