People this year is expected to take up 5,200 billion HUF from ATMs

The demand for cash did not decrease since last year in Hungary. ATM cash traffic can be around 5,200 billion HUF this year, just like last year. This represents an approximately 120-125 million occasion card usages – the survey of Trezex Hungária Zrt. shows. The ATM operator sent the results of its survey to MTI on Thursday.

According to the research, an average monthly 420-450 billion HUF is taken out from the ATMs nationwide. The equipments, that can be found in the most busiest areas can carry out hundreds of millions HUF traffic, while from the least busy ATMs only 2-3 million HUF is taken out in the same period. (MTI)
